CLARE BIRKS

Clare studied Theatre Design in Nottingham. She has worked at numerous theatres around the country and as Head of Design at the Redgrave Theatre, Farnham and the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. In 1999 she won a place on an 'Artist in Education' course run by Essex County Council, since the as part of her design practice she has devised and run projects and workshops in Theatres, Schools, Colleges, Essex University, and for Creative Partnerships as an Agent and Practitioner. In 2014, in partnership with Christopher Holden, she became a member of designermakers21

CHRISTOPHER HOLDEN

Christopher trained as an actor at the Arts Education School in London. He worked for a number of years as an actor, stage manager and production manager in repertory theatre before moving in to arts administration. Trained for working with pre-school children on Art Start programme run by Mercury Theatre, and schools, through Creative Connections course with The Royal Opera House Creative Partnerships.
